Hand spun wool is not comparable to commercial plys and thus the thickness needs to be gauged for the intended product. Be aware that knitting hand spun wool is slightly different to most commercial wools as it is often more hairy, knobbly and has a variation of thickness throughout. This makes it a fun product to use.
